*attending weekend adoption events (saturdays and/or sundays)
*speaking to the public, promoting adoptable animals, help match potential adopter with perfect pet
*reviewing adoption applications
*sometimes, meeting potential adopters at the Rogers, AR Petco location during the week, when/if necessary
*help conduct pre-adoption screening home visits if necessary
*track adoptions, perform follow-up calls within 4-6 weeks after adoption takes place
*help keep grant writer informed of the adoption program's needs (cages, supplies, advertising, possible events, etc)
*help discover new ways to promote adoptions and hold adoption events!
No real experience necessary. Prefer someone who isn't afraid to speak to the public during adoption events (you don't need to know technical information), clean cages and litter boxes while on-site and help promote adoptions during bi-weekly weekend adoption events.
Minimum Age Requirement: 16
Hourly Commitment: 6 hours per Month
