Bookkeeper/Admininistative Assistant (Bella Vista)

Small tax and financial services office is looking for a Part Time Assistant who has the willingness to learn and expand in various aspects of the accounting industry. Strong candidates will be motivated, self-starters, detail oriented and possess strong organizational and communication skills.

This is an entry-level position, yet ideal, opportunity for a stay-at-home parent, or college student looking to advance in the future. Duties include a blend of technical and clerical tasks typical in a business setting and the accounting industry.

Candidates must be well-versed in Microsoft Word and Excel, the usage of general office equipment, and be comfortable learning new applications. Experience in QuickBooks, tax preparation and accounting industry is a plus. Candidates should expect low-pressure testing to highlight strengths and aptitude, as well as a background check if hired.

Initial expectations are approximately 12-15 hours per week through the end of the year, increasing to 25 hours during tax season. Hours are flexible and can be coordinated around your schedule within reason. This is a part-time, but long-term, opportunity for the right person.
