US Army M120 Telescopic Sight Case - $35 (Eureka Springs)

This case is very rare and hard to find. The case is very sturdy, made of olive drab fiberglass and aluminum. It is approximately 21" L x 8" W x 5" H. On one side is a button to equalize pressure inside the case when opening. On the opposite side is stamped "CASE CARRYING, 10553971." Two twist clamp locking latches seal the case to keep it airtight. Where the two halves meet, the seal is aluminum and has a rubber gasket. On the inside has molded foam material with impressions which the pieces of the telescope and adapter parts fit.

The M120 was the primary sight for the M139 20mm auto-loading cannon and had 6X magnification. The M139 cannon was used primarily on the M114A2 (aka M114A1E1) armored recon vehicle, mounted in the commander's cupola. The M139 was the American service name of the Hispano-Suiza HS.820 20 mm gun.
In good shape for its age. Great for militaria collectors or customize the foam to make a secure case for your hunting scope.
