Belly Dance Dancer Baladay Scimitar ORIGINAL SAROYAN Master Craft Sword with Brocade case. Saroyan Master Crafts no longer makes these wonderful swords, so it is hard to find one; especially one in excellent condition with its brocade scabbard. Scimitar and scabbard are in excellent condition. This is a well-crafted sword and expensive looking. It's not a cheap, knock off. This sword has a stainless steel blade with antique bronze-tone dragon handle. Sword edge has about a 3" area of grooves in it to help with balance. This is newer version of the Saroyan scimitar purchased around 2005. Sword is about 36" long and about 2 pounds 6 ounces. 1.75" at widest point and 1.25" at balance point. Includes brocade scabbard case. Saroyan is the preferred sword for many well known professional belly dancers. Great for dancers of all levels including professional as well as collectors. Gently used and well cared for item. Made in the USA. Comes from a smoke free and pet free home.
