We have a 2 light rails 24' in the air in our church sanctuary that each need some attention. Each rail has 4 Chauvet ColorDash Par 12 fixutres that have been up and operational for about 10 years. One fixture on the first rail has lost communication with the DMX controller and occasionally goes into demo mode. We want to try replacing the DMX cabling on the rail to see if this allows it to communicate again, or just unplug the power to the light to abandon it in place. We would also like to investigate another fixture on the second rail that will not power on to see if it just has a loose power cable. Each rail also has a couple of normal spot fixtures that need a typical bulb swap while we have access.
We have a scaffold system available to be used with (3) 6' tall sections to provide access, but it is beyond our risk tolerance level to use it that high. The floor will not support a mechanised lift.
We are looking for a team (need at least 2 people so there can be someone to assist in assembling the scaffold) to come and have a look at the situation and provide a quote for performing the work. We do ask that you are insured just in case something were to happen, we don't want anyone taking unnecessary risk.
