Looking for a Pony - $300

I'm actively searching for a mini or Shetland project pony for the 4 year old I started baby sitting last February. She is here 5 days a week and is always wanting something to play with while I'm riding my big horse projects. I've looked at the sales and I can't find anything that's not stupid expensive crippled or way to wild even then the wild ones are over priced. . I would love to help a couple sad ponies as long as they aren't ancient or to crippled to do anything with. Skinny full of lice or even a bit on the wild side is ok. Really would like to stay under 40 inches. I will pay but I don't want your 3500 finished playday ponies. We just want a scraggly little project that needs a little TLC. No judgment will be passed no negative comments will be made. I know horses and I can turn one around that needs a little help. I'm located in West Siloam Springs Oklahoma but willing to drive for a good deal on a couple ponies we can turn into something....
