We wean our kids on a schedule. Beginning at 2 weeks, the bucklings are weaned by 8 weeks of age, doelings by 12 weeks of age. We handle the kids daily so they are friendly at weaning and ready for a new home.
Bucklings can be wethered prior to going to their new home at no additional cost.
Goats are herd animals and MUST have a buddy. Dogs and children do not count as buddies.
As with any farm animal, please do your research before purchase. Nigerian Dwarfs are a small dual purpose goat breed (milk/meat). They also make nice pets.
