This is a solid state amp that utilizes Peavey's TransTube technology. This little amp produces some great tones similar to what a Peavey Bandit might produce, but all through an 8" speaker versus the Bandit's 12" speaker. If you are looking for an affordable practice amp that can produce decent tones, this is a great value.
