We are looking to rehome both of our dogs, together or separately. We are not able to bring them along on our next venture, so are looking for another family that will welcome one or both with love.
Zooey, our lab, was our first "baby." We adopted her 8 years ago from a local shelter. She was 6 months old and full of joyful puppy energy. She is so much more calm now, but is still a puppy at heart! She lives to love us and is always ready to play. Through moves, other dogs, children, living indoors and out, she has been adaptable and steady.
She would be thrilled to be part of a family that will be give her the simple dog life: a good ball to retrieve, a belly rub, and a face to lick. She has a small, benign cyst on her shoulder/neck area. House-trained. She has lived peacefully with our other dog and is very gentle with our young children. Zooey is spayed and weighs 40 pounds.
Molly has added joy and laughter to our family for the last eight years. Through moves, other dogs, children, living indoors and out, she has also been adaptable and steady. She has a personality that sets her apart from any other dogs we've known; a cleverness about her that is hard to describe. She is currently an outside dog but has spent several years of her life as an inside dog and is house-trained. She is witty, gentle, cheerful, and nurturing. We have had up to four dogs at once and she has done well with all of them. She has always been the leader of the pack. She is gentle with our young children. Molly is spayed and weighs 50 lbs.
Rehoming fee: $50 per dog
Proof of up-to-date vaccines, microchip information, and health records can be provided for both dogs.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions if you think that Zooey or Molly could be a perfect addition to your family!
Recommendation letters will be requested from adopters and a rehoming contract will be signed by both parties upon adoption.
